June 21st Hare Scramble is canceled with a tentative make-up date of July 12th
It looks like we won't be catching a break in the next few days, as we have rain predicted every day. The river is up and has part of the course flooded. With everyone's safety in mind we are canceling the race for June 21st. The tentative replacement date is July 12th

Welcome to District 6 World of Hare Scrambles...
Dedicated to bring you all the lastest news and happenings in the District. For 2009 we will be having 20 races that count towards points. We'll be getting started in April and will be racing till November. Visit the scedule page to get the dates. The 2009 application is online, so download, fill it out and sent it in ASAP. Check back regularly for updates. Please contact us for anything you would want changed or updated. We'll do our best to get it done.

District 6 is going with Transponder Scoring in 2009
Here are a couple documents to help with some basic information and mounting sugestions.
A must is that the transponer be mounted horizontally, preferably on you chest protector and not be touching metal of any kind. Vertically on the front forks, or in you pants pocket will not work. You will not be scored if you do this. Please do not mount the transponder vertically anywhere on your machine or person. It is very important and can't be stressed enough.
